Do I need a service plan?

The Hygge Sensor comes with a cellular service plan that's good for 4 years. After that the plans start at $30/year. The Hygge Sensor works with many different carriers in North America and should work anywhere that you have cell phone signal.

How often are device readings taken?

Routine device readings are taken every 60 seconds and sent to an online portal every 2 hours. Should a device reading fall outside a set range an update will be sent immediately to our web portal along with your choice of email/ text notification.
